Architects for Health invites you to make a visit to Wales
10-11th July 2012
For our study tour this year we are not venturing overseas, unless of course you consider the mighty Severn a determining body of water.
We are making a 2 day visit to South Wales to look at some of the best and most innovative hospital architecture of the last few years.
The trip will take place on 10th – 11th July and we will visit:
- Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr
- Ysbyty Aneurin Bevan
- Cynon Valley Hospital
- Teenage Cancer Trust at Cardiff University Hospital
There will be an overnight stay in Cardiff with an evening reception in the central Cardiff office of HLM Architects, and lunch on Wednesday with our sponsors Rockwool following a tour of their factory.
There is a booking fee of £25 to help cover the costs of the visits that is payable in advance. Travellers to Cardiff will be expected to arrange their own travel to the city; and to meet the overnight hotel costs though a group discount will be obtained.
Places are strictly limited and further details of the programme will be available to those who book.
See what is happening in the Principality – have your eyes opened to some great architecture as well as some stunning scenery.
