Leo Care

Leo Care - Design tutor at the University of Sheffield.

Leo currently divides his time between architecture research, practice and teaching:

    Associate Director of the Bureau of Design Research, based in the school of Architecture at the University of Sheffield, undertaking research and consultancy projects across the UK.

    Practicing architect with Prue Chiles Architects.

    Design tutor in both the Architecture Degree and MArch schools at the University of Sheffield.

Leo is a founding member of Playce, an international network of architects, designers and educationalists that have come together to improve awareness and encourage learning of the built environment, through design and play.

Leo Care has recently co-authored 'Primary Ideas', one of the latest publications on school premises from the DfES. Conceived as a toolkit of design principles, creative ideas and projects for primary schools, its aim is to inspire staff, pupils and parents.
