How to find Department of Health Design and Technical Guidance: Department of Health Design and Technical Guidance is available free to NHS employees via a login process through the NHS Estates Knowledge & Information Portal (KIP).
This website has been developed to provide a UK-wide source of knowledge, examples of good practice and expertise in the provision of the healthcare environment. The K&IP is a searchable source of information on the many aspects of the healthcare environment.
Anyone can apply to and gain access to KIP – see the application window on the above page – but non-NHS staff cannot access the whole body of NHS guidance, only executive summaries and some reports.
