This website has been developed to provide a UK-wide source of knowledge, examples of good practice and expertise in the provision of the healthcare environment. Space for Health is a searchable source of information on the many aspects of the healthcare environment. Anyone can apply to and gain access to Space for Health – access rights differ depending on the organisation you work for so please see the terms and conditions on the website. see the application window on the above page but non-NHS staff cannot access the whole body of NHS guidance, only executive summaries and some reports. Individual documents can be accessed either by purchasing from The Stationery Office (TSO) <http://www.tsoshop.co.uk/>  or through one of the two subscription web-based providers; Barbour Index <http://www.barbour-index.co.uk/barbourinfo>  or IHS Technical Indexes <http://uk.ihs.com/> . This is no longer the case, and individual documents have never been available from Barbour Index and Technical Indexes (they provide subscription services).
