The College of Emergency Medicine has bought together an international faculty to deliver a short course that offers clinicians and design professionals an opportunity to understand the requirements and evidence that supports the design of the smartest Emergency Department (ED). That is, one that inspires and intuitively supports effective, efficient and safe patient care, promotes the recruitment and retention of staff with the flexibility to meet future developments in healthcare, technology and patient volumes.

The faculty combines experts from Cambridge University NHS Hospitals, The Bartlett, University College London and Loughborough University with leading thinkers in Emergency Department design and operations in the United States.
