This survey is part of my dissertation to find out more about Curtain Walling within Adult Mental Healthcare Units
This research is looking at the external vertical building elements i.e. Facades in Adult Mental Health Care Units with the particular focus on the specification of Curtain Walling. These elements are usually floor to ceiling metal framed fixed glazed elements (although they do sometimes incorporate opening windows). They are distinct from a window which usually opens within a wall.
I am interested in how Curtain Walling for these environments is currently being specified including the application of specific NHS test standards.
