Ann Noble Research Award Presentation 2024

PRESENTATION OF THE FIFTH ANN NOBLE RESEARCH AWARD IN 2024

The close association between Architects for Health and the Bartlett Real Estates Institute, with generous support from the Noble family will be celebrated with the presentation of the fifth Ann Noble Research Award.

Students taking the BREI Healthcare Facilities MSc are eligible to apply for the award, which enables a greater scope of study in preparation and presentation of the final year dissertation.

DR ANN NOBLE

Dr Ann Noble PhD, B Arch, MA Sociology, Dip. Town Planning, RIBA held a significant presence in healthcare design and research for over 40 years. She was Chairman of Architects for Health for ten years, during which time the society grew significantly in scope, influence and membership.

Ann had a passion for high quality healthcare design and her wide knowledge and inquisitive mind produced some leading research and the respect of the whole healthcare community.

She lectured internationally and advised design teams as well as running her own consultancy.

Ann mentored numerous students and young architects – her door was always open. The Ann Noble Research Award celebrates her belief in vital research and support for students aiming for excellence in healthcare design.
