Fostering Future Talent

Supporting the next generation of architects and design teams on their journey to professional practice.

“With Permanence In Mind” by Malcolm Ebose, London School of Architecture (Masters in Architecture) | 2023 Student Design Awards

Our fostering future talent pillar celebrates the work of architecture and design students as they build their career in healthcare design, supporting them on their journey to professional practice.

In this pillar we aim to:

  • Bridge the gap between academia and architecture with our annual Student Design Awards;
  • Provide networking and knowledgeshare opportunities via a rolling programme of Future Leaders events;
  • Since 2020, support research in to the design of healthcare environments through the Ann Noble Research Award: providing an annual bursary to students of the Bartlett Real Estate Institute (BREI) Masters course in Healthcare Facilities at University College London (UCL).

Through these three initiatives we aim to embrace the next generation of healthcare designers, providing a safe space for communication and collaboration.
