A very successful visit to two buildings providing cancer care and support.
Special thanks to BDP and ISG for taking the time to present the design and describe how many challenges had been overcome during construction of the Oak Cancer Centre, and to ISG for hosting us on their construction site.
Also, thanks to Maggie’s for allowing us to visit and taking the time to show us around. We gained a very useful insight into how both buildings had been designed around the user’s experience: in one being diagnosed and treated and in the other receiving support.
